A bit about me...

Marina Ranger / Danger Ranger / Running Ranger - all me! I’m born and bred in London, although prefer being out in the country side! I have a full time job alongside fulfilling my passion for endurance sports.

I started running when I was 22 and since have completed in a number of endurance sport races and self organised adventures. My passion for running started in multi-stage ultra marathons. Once hooked, I branched into a variety of challenges and races including; mountain ultras, ice marathons, desert ultras, triathlons, Ironmans and Swim Run races.

I love just taking part but am also pretty competitive, particularly against myself! I work with a coach who trains me as a triathlete. I enjoy the variety of triathlon training but my roots will always be as an ultra runner!

Endurance sports aren’t just a hobby, it’s a lifestyle and way of living. This encompasses eating well, being self aware and generally taking care of my body.

I love pushing and challenging myself and doing things that help me grow as a person. It gives me a sense of fulfilment and happiness. I hope by sharing my challenges and experiences with others, I can encourage them to do the same!
